The Green Wave traveled to Beech and found just enough offense to pick up a 42-37 win. Larodre Clark (13) and Beljwok Adaing (11) provided double figure scoring for Gallatin, but it was the defense that helped secure the win. Holding on to a slim one point lead, Gallatin got three straight defensive stops before Cade Martin made two free throws to stretch the lead to three. A fourth consecutive stop allowed Ty Martin to go to the line and make two more free throws sealing the win on the road. The win improves the overall record to 13-10 and 4-6 in district 9AAA play. Gallatin hosts Wilson Central on Tuesday for senior night. With snow forecast in the mid-state Tuesday, follow @WAVEbasketball on twitter for updates about any possible schedule changes.
