The Gallatin Green Wave inducted its 3rd class into The Green Wave Athletics Hall Of Fame and then followed with a thrilling 53-52 victory over Hendersonville. Ty Martin hit two three’s in the last 10 seconds of the game to lift the Wave. After leading for most of the second half, Gallatin fell behind by four after Hendersonville converted on two free throws with :20 left. But Larodre Clark found Ty Martin for a three with :10 on the clock cutting the lead to one. The Wave were forced to foul with :05 and Hendersonville converted on the second of two free throws to push the lead to two. Clark took the following inbounds pass, raced up the floor and again found Martin in the corner where he buried the three point game winner as the horn sounded. With the win, the Green Wave improve to 11-8 overall and 2-4 in District 9AAA. Three Gallatin players scored in double figures as Beljwok Adaing had 14, Larodre Clark 13, and Ty Martin 10. Cade Martin, Jaden Williams, Ethan Rogers, and Jack Richardson all played and scored for the Wave. Gallatin returns to action at home on Tuesday as they take on Station Camp.
