The Lady Wave went on the road for the first time in the 2018-2019 season and picked up a 49-32 win over cross county rival White House High School to run their record to 6-1 on the season. GHS shook off a sluggish start and outscored the Blue Devils 43-26 over the last three quarters. Jo’neca Talley led the Lady Wave with 15 points, A’Niya Boone and Makayla Wright added 10 points each, Jeremia Montgomery scored 8 points, and Talor Crenshaw rounded out the scoring with 6 points. The Lady Wave open district play next Friday against Portland at Home. This game will be the Wilson Bank and Trust Throw Back Night and GHS will be honoring Union High School by wearing the Red Devil Red uniforms at Jerry Vradenburg Gym.
